As a building designer, I am a big fan of fences. Fences are seen merely as a means of obtaining security or privacy, but they can be works of art. I always judge a household or business by its fence. A well-maintained, carefully-constructed fence can reflect a sense of pride and concern for detail on behalf of the owners. A good fence greatly enhances a property in my eyes. Over the years, I have built up an extensive repertoire of knowledge about types of fencing, legal issues and construction techniques. My clients have come to greatly respect my practical advice in this area, along with my designing abilities.
